Norwegian Kode Art Museum Delegation Paid a Visit to China
On May 7, 2014, Ms. Karin Hindsbo- incumbent director of Kode Art Museum of Bergen, Norway led a delegation to arrive at Beijing and talked with Peking University and Zhongkun Group on “Return of National Treasure” and other concrete issues. During the one-week visit, professional team deeply communicated with preservationists of Peking University as well as our Group, took part in the “2014 China-France Poetry Festival” hosted by Zhongkun Poetry Development Foundation, and visited characteristic ancient villages under Huangshan and Mentougou module of Zhongkun Group.
The delegation organizes this visit in order to establish good communication mechanism with Peking University, ensure smooth academic exchange and cooperation in later period, constantly improve Museum”s cognitive level for Chinese collections, and adopt more effective protective measures to keep collections with profound cultural and historical values well and long preserved.
In an exclusive interview with the Global Times, Ms Karin Hindsbo pointed out “The innovation and uniqueness of this collaboration attracts much attention of eastern and western media. Of course, most people in Norway are optimistic about the collaboration. It is the generous help of Mr. Huang Nubo and Zhongkun Group regarding our communication and cooperation with Peking University as well as their function as a bridge that makes the overall process of cooperation go smoothly. Under the background of globalized cultural exchange of today, we have great confidence to this cooperation and hope that the new mode created by us can bring new inspirations for more people.
